Workshops

Our workshops connect you with experts who provide valuable insight on a range of topics—from basic computer skills and effective communication to dressing for success and more.

Apprenticeship Program

One of our most impactful programs equips both youth and adults with the skills they need to succeed. In partnership with A&K Training Facility and other providers, we offer training and apprenticeship opportunities right here in Greensboro.

While the program is open to anyone, we take particular pride in serving justice-involved youth and adults. By helping them gain hands-on experience and train with companies in their field of interest, we aim to provide an alternative to the cycle of incarceration. We also recognize that skill-building alone isn’t enough—which is why we collaborate with other community organizations to address a wider range of needs.

Basic Computer Skills

As technology becomes more integrated into our daily lives, it’s essential for individuals to have basic computer literacy. This course will teach students fundamental computer skills, including an introduction to computer terminology, word processing, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, safe web searches, and email.

We strive to support the unique needs of each student to ensure a successful learning experience.
